m7soft (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, in connection with the applications and web services related to 12Bombs! (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Service”).

This Privacy Policy is originally written in Japanese, and an English translation is also provided. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.

By using the Service, users are required to read and agree to the full contents of this Policy.

This Service may also be provided to users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK). In such cases, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) shall apply. For details, please refer to Section 9 (GDPR) below in this Privacy Policy.

The Service may also be provided in certain states of the United States, including California, in which case privacy-related laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and CTDPA may apply. Please refer to Section 10 below for details.


1. Information Collected and Methods of Collection

In this Policy, “User Information” refers to information related to user identification, behavioral history on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in connection with users or their devices, which is collected by us in accordance with this Policy.

The User Information collected by the Service includes the following, depending on the method of collection.

The above information is only provided directly by users when necessary for communication via our contact form.

The Service does not automatically collect such information from users who do not use the contact form.


2. Purpose of Use

The purposes for which User Information is used in providing the Service are as follows:

  • (1) To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service
  • (2) To use and publish statistical information that does not identify individuals
  • (3) To measure user traffic and behavior
  • (4) To deliver, display, and measure the effectiveness of advertisements
  • (5) To respond to inquiries and communications regarding the Service

3. Method to Discontinue Use

Users may discontinue use of the Service at any time by deleting the application.

Please note that data collected by third-party services related to external modules we use (such as advertising and analytics services) may not be fully deletable by us. The availability and scope of deletion are subject to the policies and procedures of each service provider.

If we receive a deletion request, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with deletion procedures where possible; however, final decisions depend on the respective service providers.


4. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the age considered a child in the user’s region), and use by such individuals is strictly prohibited, even with parental consent.

If a child under 13 has installed the Service by mistake, please delete the application immediately.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their region) must obtain parental consent before using the Service.

This does not mean that the Service contains sexual or violent content.

Actual installable age requirements may vary depending on store age ratings.


5. External Transmission, Third-Party Provision, and Information Collection Modules

The Service incorporates the following information collection modules, which may result in the provision of User Information to the respective module providers, including entities located outside Japan.

6. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties, including those located outside Japan, without prior user consent, except in the following cases:

  • (1) When outsourcing all or part of the handling of personal information necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  • (2) When personal information is transferred due to business succession such as mergers
  • (3) When personal information is provided to partners or the above-mentioned information collection module providers (e.g., analytics or advertising)
  • (4) When required to cooperate with governmental or local authorities in accordance with laws and regulations
  • (5) When otherwise permitted under applicable laws, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information

7. Disclosure of Personal Information

When a user requests disclosure of personal information in accordance with applicable laws, we will verify the identity of the requester and disclose the information without undue delay.

If no such personal information exists, we will notify the user accordingly.

If disclosure is not required under applicable laws, we may decline the request.

A handling fee of JPY 1,000 per request may be charged.


8. Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information

  • (1) If a user requests correction or suspension of use of personal information due to inaccuracy or improper handling, we will conduct necessary investigations and take appropriate action after verifying the user’s identity.
  • (2) If a user requests deletion of personal information and we determine that compliance is necessary, we will delete the information and notify the user.
  • (3) If we are not obligated to comply under applicable laws, these provisions shall not apply.

9. GDPR

For users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) shall apply. For users residing in the United Kingdom (UK), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) shall apply.

We process personal data of users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) in accordance with the legal bases set forth under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as described below. The same processing principles also apply to users residing in the United Kingdom (UK) under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Users may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis.

(2) Rights of GDPR Users

In accordance with the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR, users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK) are entitled to the following rights:

  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to certain processing

In addition, users residing in the United Kingdom (UK) have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), regarding our handling of their personal data.

(3) Transfers of Personal Data Outside the EEA and the UK

When using third-party services such as Google LLC (United States), personal data of users residing in the EEA and the UK may be transferred to countries outside the EEA and the UK.

Such transfers are conducted based on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

10. Privacy Rights under U.S. State Laws (CCPA, etc.)

In accordance with privacy laws such as CCPA, CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and CTDPA, eligible users have the following rights:

  • The right to request deletion of personal information
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information

We do not sell personal information. However, data sharing via advertising networks may be considered a “sale” under certain laws, and eligible users are provided with opt-out options.
