m7soft (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, in connection with applications and web services (collectively, the “Service”) provided under BuzzerTalk.
By using the Service, you must read and agree to the full text of this Policy.
This Privacy Policy is originally written in Japanese, and an English translation is provided. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.
The Service may be provided to users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK), in which case the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR shall apply. Please refer to the GDPR section below for details.
The Service may also be provided in certain U.S. states, including California, in which case applicable privacy laws such as the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and CTDPA shall apply. Please refer to the U.S. State Laws section below.
1. Information Collected and Collection Methods
In this Policy, “User Information” means information related to user identification, behavioral history on communication services, and other information generated or stored in relation to users or their devices, which is collected by the Company in accordance with this Policy.
User Information collected by the Company in the Service includes the following:
Information Collected Directly by the Service
- User information such as nicknames
- Pairing information such as recipients
- Message content
The above information is stored on Google services located in Japan (as described below).
Information Collected via External Modules
For analytics:
- Device and user identifiers
- Browsing and operation history (excluding message content)
- Device information
- Approximate location (city-level, not personally identifiable)
- Number of app launches
- App-related information (for security purposes)
- Language information
For advertising:
- Advertising identifiers
- Approximate location for ad optimization
For crash handling:
- Device information and logs at the time of crash
- User identifiers
- App information
- Language information
For notifications:
- Notification identifiers
- Execution logs
For user management (as anonymous users):
- User identifiers
- Account creation date and login date
Notification-related data is stored on Google services located in Japan. Other data may not necessarily be stored in Japan.
Information Provided via Inquiries
- Email address
This information is only provided voluntarily by users when using the inquiry form. The Service does not collect this information without user input.
2. Purpose of Use
User Information is used for the following purposes:
- (1) Provision, maintenance, protection, and improvement of the Service
- (2) Statistical analysis in a non-identifiable form
- (3) Measurement of user traffic and behavior
- (4) Delivery and effectiveness measurement of advertisements
- (5) Responding to inquiries and providing information
- (6) Addressing violations of terms and policies
3. Method to Request Suspension of Use
Users may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the application.
Data stored on Company-managed servers can be deleted via the app settings.
Data collected by third-party services cannot be fully guaranteed to be deleted by the Company. Deletion depends on each service provider’s policies. The Company will make reasonable efforts upon request.
Requests must include the user ID via the contact form.
4. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age (or the age defined as a child in their region), and such use is strictly prohibited.
If a child installs the app by mistake, please delete it immediately.
Users under 18 must obtain parental consent. This does not imply the Service contains inappropriate content.
5. External Transmission and Third-Party Modules
The Service uses the following modules:

7. Storage of Communications
The Company stores necessary data on Google servers.
Only the latest message is retained; previous messages are deleted upon new transmission.

The Company protects the confidentiality of communications.

The Company implements:
- Encryption during transmission
- Access control for stored data
- Server monitoring
- Log management
These measures are continuously improved.
10. Disclosure of Personal Information
The Company will disclose personal information upon request after verifying identity, unless exempt under law.
A fee of 1,000 JPY per request may apply.
11. Response to Data Breaches
In case of leaks involving messages, nicknames, or pairing data, the Company will investigate and notify users and authorities as necessary.
